Tammy has been passionate about the beauty and hair industry since her teens and in 2003, she obtained her cosmetology license. She then continued her studies and earned a Bachelor of Business at Liberty University. As a student, Tammy worked full time as a hairstylist in a salon with visions of opening and running her own one day.

 

After moving to Charlotte in 2009, Tammy showcased her talents in a premiere local salon. Her industry training consists of extensive advanced training in Aveda, Wella, and Matrix for color and cutting, as well as in Davines and Platinum Seamless Hair Extensions. Tammy comes with almost 20 years of training and experience.

 

During that time, her passion has grown not only for her clientele but also for her fellow stylists. Her goal in opening her own salon has always been to give her clientele a luxurious space to relax and feel at home, while also creating an environment that supports the passion and successes of the stylists and service providers in her industry. Her dream has now come true with LUMA Salon.
